To those of you who might read this, I dedicate this to you:
I am writing this blog to focus on recent scientific publications concerning molecular virology and epigenetics. If it is read by anyone I will be thrilled. If not, so be it. If anything, this shall be a practice in reviewing and evaluating research out there today.
As for a little about myself, I am currently a graduate student studying geminiviruses (plant virus causing massive agricultural losses) at Ohio State University. My project is focusing on two aspects:
1) Histone epigenetic marks associated with the viral genome
2) DNA Damage Response pathway involvement upon geminivirus infection.
